Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another press for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in the Microsoft Word, or OpenDocument file format.
  • Where available, DOI and URL for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Press.

Author Guidelines

The Expanded Horizons of Education, Technology and Innovation Congress (HEeETI 2023) will be held on November 1,2 and 3 at the University of Cartagena de Indias.

Those attending the international congress who have passed the evaluation process of the scientific committee will have the opportunity to publish their papers in Spanish and English in a collaborative volume published by McGraw Hill - Aula Magna (indexed in SPI). This volume will be organized according to the themes and lines of the different symposia of the congress.

In this platform you can proceed to send the full texts of your papers, give the instructions to upload your documents, their metadata and to perform the corresponding editorial review.

We accept empirical research or theoretical research papers with a recommended length of 3000 words and a maximum of 5000 words.

Papers must be adapted to the typographical format and the standards proposed by the publisher.

Please use Times New Roman 12. The opening paragraph is not indented. Text should be single spaced.

Quotations should have a left indentation of 1 cm, should not have quotation marks, and should end with the source of the quotation in parentheses. Citations are used when the citation is five or more lines long (author's last name, year of publication, pages). Please use Times New Roman 9.

The second and following paragraphs should have a first line indentation of 0.5.

When tables and figures are included in the body of the article, position them after the paragraph in which they are described. When citing the source of information, include it at the bottom of the figure in a "source line". Tables and figures should be numbered and have a brief, descriptive title.
